A note from the Director of Advancement
Welcome! As a member of the St. John's staff it is a privilege for me to work among those who have played a role in our rich history. Our alumni are such an important part of our past, present and future.
As a graduate you would be proud to know that our pursuit of academic excellence continues at St. John's today. SJS has consistently been a top-ranked school among all Ken-Ton schools (public and private) over the past decade. Moreover, graduates have been offered more than $1,000,000 in scholarships to Catholic and private schools in the last four years alone!
One of our key objectives is promoting networking with our alums and their families! Assisting in those efforts is our Executive Board of the St. John's School Alumni Association who I closely work with to further our efforts. I am thrilled that the Alumni newsletter that they initiated and continue to produce has been so well received by all! This publication highlights the accomplishments of our St. John's community including our talented alums, students, parishioners, families and friends.

Additionally, I am pleased to report on several projects in the Advancement Office. Our inaugural Annual Appeal has provided the funds to accomplish the necessary structural improvements to the science lab and to furnish it with state-of-the-art technologies. Moreover, our technology initiative has allowed classrooms in the entire school from grades Kindergarten through 8th to be equipped with Smart Boards. These interactive learning devices have been provided in conjunction with proceeds from the Alumni Walkway and the stewardship of Rev. Michael Parker, our pastor. The walkway project has further beautified the exterior of the property and has generated much needed revenue for school as well.
Finally, graduating classes continue to return to our campus to partake in reunions with fellow alums - who are able to reconnect and share in the traditions of our St. John's Community! Alumni celebrations include tours of the school, alumni Masses and receptions on the school grounds.
I invite you to explore the subject tabs above more information. So many exciting things are happening here at St. John's School! Stop in for a tour to see what has changed and how much of it has remained the same. And, be sure to follow us on Facebook for our most current news!

May God bless you.
